I created a storyboard as I think that the book would make a good animation
BUT
I do not have the expertise to create it.
I see the story in this way, as well as in book form, because I have spent many years being involved in the writing and production of drama (albeit not 'big time').
I love the idea of the book because I can use words and words are what I use best.
I see the visual element because of the illustrations. I love drawing and art in general, so I see Violet Jelly in both forms and did so as I wrote.

The illustrations are delightful and so wildly different from one another. Does each represent an idea for a book or do they all connect in some way, eventually?
I love animation. Do you know of the work of the Quay brothers? I just discovered their work and am in love with it. They created the bus crash scene in the movie Frida and also did the video for Peter Gabriel's song Sledgehammer.

The illustrations are all from the same book, which is available on amazon (illustrated and unillustrated. In the storyboard, there are extra illustrations, so this is a synopsis of the book (but does not contain the depth of language nor the nuances. The second part will be up on Sunday and the final part, next Wednesday
