Sunday Snippet

A glorious Easter Day I wish for you all.

From 'The Owl and the Pussy Cat' by Edward Lear

'The Owl and the Pussy-Cat went to sea
In a beautiful pea green boat,
They took some honey, and plenty of money,
Wrapped up in a five pound note ....'

This snippet is because I shall be away from my blog for a while, sailing away in fact, but I have left some 'Wordless Wednesdays' to mark the spot until I return.

Happy blogging to you all! xx

Sailing away - is that literal or figurative? I'm looking forward to your return. Thank you for the poem.

Literal, Olga. It is so sad because a neighbour's dog got into our garden last night and killed one of our old cats, Bushy. It was awful, so we go with sad hearts.
