To be underwater must be both pleasurable and frightening too;-9

good evening, my dear...wow, these creatures look like gentle giants and i've heard they are just that...also wouldn't really want to actually swim with them. bit too big...

apologies if you've wondered what happened to me but maybe you didn't know i TRIED to make myself private last week and part of this...abysmal failure. i had you on the list but knew you were on vacay. then saw you were back and wondered what happened as i didn't hear back from you-- if you got the message/email/invite from blogger and you probably didn't like some others. anyway, here i am and hope you are not upset with me. and i am now public and gave up the experiment-an exercise in futility..... ;(

i am looking forward to reading about your time underwater with these wonderful animals!

Did you touch one? I'm guessing they are affectionate...

I did get your message, Linda, but have been laid low with a virus, and it is too cold to work down here where the computer is.

Gina, yes, they come up to you to play. They roll over to have their tummies tickled and try to hug your arms with their flippers. They nudge you and push their faces up to you mask .... delightful, but you have to remain still so that you are not a threat to their environment. The water is quite shallow, so it is fairly easy to do. The hard part is to be at the dive centre for 6am!
