My sister climbed Scarfell Pike for charity and after seeing this picture, I can appreciate how dangerous the climb was.

I would not dare to climb this mountain; it fills me with awe and dread, as does Wastwater, the lake below it. However, the Lake Poets, especially Coleridge, seemed to bound up the mountains with no bother ... and they would not have had walking boots! I will stay below and just write the poetry!
