The flower is a Passion Flower (how about a poem Dulce!) and mine only has two or three flowers a year. This is the second one this year. I missed the first as they suddenly appear and last only for one day. The oval is because my thumb was in the photograph!! Glad you like it though, Melissa, as it works well with the shape of this amazing flower, which is indeed 'strange and beautiful' Spangle.

A very original photo. It really works well with the shape of flower and even exaggerated it.
