Pretty animal? Oh I wishI could see beuty here, tal y como la entendemos... belleza griega, I mean :-) But beuty is there- for all it means, and I wonder why you selected this, some GOOD reason there must be. many interpretations it leads to... And i just love it because of you, because you chose it and it takes me to an aracnid world where eight legs...
Yes, this is real and appeared on the framework of our patio doors. It is a garden spider .... and i think that it is amazingly beautiful and wonder how nature achieves endless variety in her creatures. Thank you for your comments.
She's a beauty. I love spiders. So did Louise Bourgeois, the sculptor. Do you know her work? I'll bet you'd recognize her giant spiders if you saw them!
I just love Louise Bourgoise's work and I have some funny stories to tell of when I took students to see it ... but I can't repeat them here! Olga, it was about 3 centimetres, excluding the legs - and quite harmless.

Tan bonita, tan bella...pero como molesta su picadura, las molestias son similares a la picadura de una avispa...creo que peor...
