The mother has promised that this daughter will be the first to know her secret and that it will be told on a journey they are taking together to London, by train.
'Close the window now, darling. Now, my secret.'
The train increased speed, louder, faster.

This is a nice snippet. I particularly like the repetition at the end, to emulate the sound of the train.
You make me want to read Unicorn Sister. Did I already tell you that one of my daughters is Ursula ?
Thank you for your comments. If you are going to read Unicorn Sisters, PS, I would suggest that you read Tin Toys first. They are quite dark books but give insight into the childhood of three sisters, in an age that is past and for this I find them intriguing ... and well written.
Ursula is a fascinating name. As a child, I came across it in a book and used to love saying it out loud!?
A snippet that is! And then what??
Please give us a bit more infoe
Gracias Aguja por tus lindos comentarios

Oooh, I love this snippet. Thanks for sharing it! And in response to your comment on my blog, good luck with book three. And, btw, that adventure book sounds like a really awesome idea! I'd love to see some of your illustrations someday :-)
Thank you Melissa! One day I shall attempt to put up an illustration from 'Pirata Ana' - the name of the picture book. The files are large, so I need to find out how to compress them a little.
Thank you for your good wishes for book three of the trilogy. It is the most challenging of the three as all the threads need to be drawn together and be synchronised ... am looking forward to the attempt.
Dulce, I shall give you more info. on these books in the next few days. Thank you for commenting.
Never too old to dream!! xo
